Daytime on the Computer Planet

This was the original idea for the daytime scene of my planet. The binary shield was not working out and it seemed very bare and flat...

Scene without the Binary but still missing something.

Ahh.. Here we go! A lot more vibrant colors, good amount of contrast, and more detail in the sky (look at all of those volcanoes!). Did you know that, when wet, volcanic ash is a fantastic conductor for electricity? Awesome!
